Plant Controller
Multi-billion parent company in consumer products/Pharma. This is approx. a $300mm operation. Wichita, KS area.
Act as lead finance business partner for the operations management team, establishing plant goals, identifying and verifying cost improvement opportunities, linking operational measures, metrics and processes impacting the financials; and driving continuous improvement. Direct the financial planning and forecasting processes, utilizing models and ensuring linkage to operational plans. Responsible for all financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; and individual and team development.
Skills/Experience Education/CertificationBachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required with a Master’s Degree and or CPA preferred. 7-10 years of extensive background in all areas of manufacturing accounting, specifically in cost, planning and analysis and automated manufacturing systems. Specific hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant is highly desirable. Considerable interpersonal contact is required with all levels of management, as well as a variety of people outside the organization. Therefore, a high degree of human relations skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required. The incumbent must be results/profit oriented and committed to the attainment of short and long term objectives.

Job Summary:The clinical staff pharmacist performs daily pharmacist functions using standard techniques and procedures to process written prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and other qualified prescribers. Provides information, keeps pertinent records, oversees medication preparation and generally protects the well being of patients by checking for adverse reactions, allergies, overdoses, and inappropriate use and dose of prescribed medications. Essential Duties: Reviews written prescriptions in order to determine appropriate ingredients needed and to assure that overdoses have not been prescribed or that toxic compounds will not result from combining ingredients.Demonstrates the competency to provide care appropriate to all age populations of the patients served. Age populations may include: Neonatal, Pediatrics, Adolescence, Adult and/or Geriatrics.Maintains, when possible, and monitors patient drug profiles using computerized programs in order to assure patient safety.Uses pharmacokinetic skills to clinically monitor patients and doses of selected drugs under order of the physician or by approved medical staff protocols in order to assure safe and consistent use of toxic drugs.Gives direction to technicians, students or residents in day to day work related activities, using professional judgments as to priorities of work flow in order to increase productivity and foster a team concept.Attends mandatory workshops and meetings sponsored by the Corporation/COE and also continued education in pharmacy practice in order to meet regulatory standards and COE/hospitals' goals.Supports and assists in meeting COE goals for order entry, medication preparation and clinical programsGives a thorough, concise report at change of shift and communicates incomplete assignments, and potential patient concerns to monitor in order to ensure continuity of medication therapy.Assures that all order types are processed in a timely and accurate manner.Investigates and reports adverse drug events and medication errors identified.Provides appropriate information regarding drug therapy when consultedReviews and interprets all physician orders received, using the patient profile. AmMed Direct is in search of Certified Pharmacy Technicians. As an AmMed Direct Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for delivering superior customer service for our customers by assisting the Pharmacist in filling and completing prescription orders.
These technicians are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and contacting vendors to place supply orders as needed. They are to verify new inventory and put into stock with new shipments are received. Using the EPOST computer system, each technician is to prepare orders to be checked by the Pharmacist.
They are also responsible for ordering special drugs for next day orders and for putting away new stock such as medication bottles. Each technician must monitor and maintain inventory levels in the Innovation Robotics system. They are to also make sure the cleanliness of the Pharmacy is maintained, including sweeping, taking out the trash, cleaning counter tops, and pharmacy refrigerator.
